What I was missing is seemingly simple, when it comes to calories, but there’s a lot of bad information out there.
You see, when men don’t eat enough food (which is actually very common as many calculators don’t actually give you the right amount of food to consume), we get a big spike in cortisol.
Cortisol forces our bodies to store fat and burn muscle, which is why we’re always so confused when we ‘diet’ but don’t lose fat.
To compound this problem, when we eat TOO MUCH, we gain fat, which sends our ESTROGEN LEVELS THROUGH THE ROOF, making it even more difficult for that fat to be burned at all.
The solution to these problems are simple, don’t try and plan your own meals, and don’t buy a ‘one size fits all’ meal plan.
You’re a unique guy and you need a unique meal plan. Simple.
The same goes for carbs…
For YEARS I wasn’t eating enough carbs, which sent my cortisol levels again, through the roof, making it near impossible to have the thriving testosterone levels that I now enjoy.
I thought I was doing the right thing…
It took me years of study, research, and trial and error to find the ‘magic amount’ of both overall calories and macros to help me thrive physically, sexually, and where my energy levels were concerned.
This ‘magic amount’ is found through equations that determine how many calories you burn at night, during exercise, and during the day when you’re not exercising.
And then there’s the matter of macros…
